Intel Upset (Already) Over 'Dull' Ad

Paul Ortellini might have donned a bunny suit, and Apple weren't talking about Dell, but Intel VP Deborah Conrad got a little tired and emotional over the new ad for its Intel Macs, News.com reports.

"Trapped inside PCs--dull little boxes, dutifully performing dull little tasks," Apple's ad says. But that doesn't describe Intel's customers accurately, Conrad said, although Mac users might have employed choicer epithets to describe their PC-using (now kissing) cousins.

The story is that although Intel had cooperated with Apple for the ad spot, they only saw it Tuesday, when it was apparently locked into the program.

"It's probably a good thing that we didn't see them earlier," Conrad is quoted as saying.

Analysis: Ah, right, so Conrad and Intel have already declared they'd prefer corporate censorship. But at least Paul has a sensayuma.
