Photoshop 7 TBA today (updated)?


Although there is no mention of the release of the application most say will herald the real arrival of Apple's Mac OS X on Adobe's site, the story appears to be confirmed by both News.com and a A HREF="http://www.maccentral.com">MacCentral story.

News.com writes: "Version 7.0 of Photoshop will go on sale in April, the company said in a statement, with versions tailored for Windows XP and Mac OS X.

"OS X support is seen as crucial for both Adobe and Apple. Photoshop is one of the leading software tools for graphics professionals, one of Apple's key markets."

MacCentral writes: "The business world was able to hop on board the OS X bandwagon last November when Microsoft released Office v. X, but now the creative community can soon join the converts with the announcement of Photoshop 7.0."

Analysis: As with nearly all aspects of life, we all sit somewhere along the foodchain. In the present case, it looks like IGM is #3 on the list for the PS 7 story.
