SeaMonkey alpha released


Mozilla Foundation has announced the release of SeaMonkey 1.0 Alpha. This application, formerly known as the Mozilla Application Suite, is being maintained by a group of volunteers and includes the "everything but the kitchen sink" functionality that once made Netscape a household name.

Here's what's new in this release:

SVG, are supported in official builds (except GTK1)
Tab icons now display thumbnails of the displayed image
Blazingly fast back
Website / SeaMonkey capability reporting tool
MacOS X: Mozilla Suite disk image now using embedded compression
