Curious about the insides of Mighty Mouse? One .mac Homepager has published pictures of what's inside, as xlr8yourmac notes. Yes, get up close and personal with the scrollball, tiny fragile rollers (four of them) and the side buttons. And, in case you were wondering, it's a mechanical mouse, not a touch-sensitive one (i.e., not like a trackpad). If you're thinking of buying, there's a lot more feedback on Might Mouse at xlr8yourmac, most of which is positive. But the scoop is that the scroll button isn't a clicker, but the scrollball does earn plaudits. Worth noting too is that although the mouse 'just works' under OS X 10.4.2, you need to actually install software for it to get all features working, and not all features work in earlier versions of OS X. And, as one columnist recently put it, 'who else but Apple could get this much publicity just by releasing a mouse?'
