Apple signs the Stones

Bloomberg reports that Apple and the Rolling Stones have signed a deal whereby the iTunes Music Store will become the online home the group's extensive and valuable back catalog. Jobs said an agreement with ABKCO Music & Records, which owns the copyright on early Rolling Stones songs, will mean those songs will only be available on iTunes worldwide.
Also, the Stones new album, A Bigger Bang, is now available on the iTunes Music Store for preorder. Those taking the virtual plunge early will receive an exclusive bonus video.
Editor's note: I expect Glaser (third-place on a good day) and Gorog (mounting losses) are starting to feel like they're being bludgeoned to death, which is right because they are being bludgeoned to death...
