Steve Jobs has bragged more than once that 90 percent of America's population lives within 45-minutes driving time from a brick-n-mortar Apple Store. That said, the curious mind behind ifo AppleStore has sought out and found the once place in the United States that most self-respecting Mac lovers would do better to avoid—at least 700 miles in any direction to the nearest Apple-operated retail location. And, the name of this place that isn't hell, but one can easily hell from? Atomic City, Idaho. ifo AppleStore shows this isolated yet incorporated scrap of the grid in the center of the middle of nowhere. Or, as the author puts it, in the deepest darkest heart of the "retail store black-out zone." For the enterprising Mac user that dares to dream, however, Atomic City or some nearby metropolis might be just the place to open a third-party retail location... What's your take?
