The Mozilla Foundation has announced the release of Firefox 1.0.3 and Mozilla Suite 1.7.7. Both are largely security updates that address known issues.

Previously, IGM reported that Mozilla Suite development will cease and that v1.8 would not see the light of day. That said, it's possible that this release is the last to be made available.

In related news, SpreadFirefox.com is again displaying the famed Firefox Download Counter, which was absent for a short time. As of this writing, more than 45-million people have downloaded the leading alternative browser.
