A faster Mozilla ships


The Mozilla Foundation, the fine-feather people behind Firefox, has announced the release of Mozilla 1.7.5. This release is said to feature:

• NPRuntime, an extension to the Netscape Plugin API that was developed in cooperation with Apple, Opera, and a group of plugin vendors
• Added undetectable document.all support, and support for exposing elements by their ID for pages that don't request standards compliant behavior

In a write up on this browser, AppleLinks' Charles Moore states that this Mozilla 1.7.5 is as fast as Firefox and remarks that it impresses him with its smoothness.
