OS X Server: 'The world's safest server'

mi2g, a security application and digital risk management firm, has released a study that names BSD (Berkeley Software Distribution) and Mac OS X are the world's safest and most-secure online server operating systems. Though only a snippet of the study is available publicly (£29.38, $55.65), the paragraph available does contain some surprises:

"The study also reveals that Linux has become the most breached online server OS in the government and non-government spheres for the first time, while the number of successful hacker attacks against Microsoft Windows based servers have fallen consistently for the last ten months."

Editor's note: Windows increasingly secure? More so over the last 10 months? Well, perhaps...

Nevertheless, this study reinforces what Mac users have known and enjoyed for years -- the peace of mind knowing you're secure.

What's your take?
