Think Secret: X.1.4 update nears release

Think Secret reports that a minor update to Mac OS X, version 10.1.4, is due to be released "very soon."

Nick de Plume, who rumor has it gleans the dumpsters at Cupertino nightly, quotes his informants as saying the update will include improvements in security, networking and CD burner support. X.1.4 will also boast improved file searching on local and network disks and generally snappier system performance.

Likely to be of great benefit to long-suffering dial-up Internet users is improved PPP functionality, which Mssr. de Plume says is mentioned in X.1.4's documentation. Documentation? Talk about deep throat!
