Apple: "Implementation Issues" with On-Line Store
November 28th 2003
Apple has conceded having problems with the Apple Store online due to the implementation of a new logistics system, MacWorld UK reports.
Apple has not apologized to customers, although it has emailed customers who have experienced delays and problems with its on-line ordering service. Short of an apology, Apple merely conceded that the difficulties have been "unfortunate".
MacWorld reported that approximately 29% of its readers in an on-line poll had noted difficulties with the Apple Store.
One reader suggested that Apple was having stock delivery problems and that the blame was being placed upon suppliers.
Editor's note: Have you experienced any problems with the Apple Store online lately? Or have deliveries of your orders been prompt?
