All the rumors appear to be true, Apple will be holding a media event next Wednesday. The event as reported by Engadget will be for the second generation iPad. The presentation takes place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 AM PT in San Francisco.
The invite is entitled "Come See what 2011 will be the year of," which is in reference to 2010 being the year of the tablet. Of course, no other details are available, but we can do all sorts of speculation as to what the iPad 2 will include.
