Thursday company announces three memory kits to upgrade Apple's newest iMac computers. Those shopping for a new iMac should always check out third-party memory vendors before pulling the trigger on build-to-order options at the Apple Store. Typically third-party vendors offer significant savings when doing a DIY install. Trans International Thursday announced their line up of memory kits for the new iMac. Kits include a 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB sets to upgrade the iMac up to 16 GB of memory. The iMac has four memory slots with two slots filled for a stock 4 GB. So, customers could easily upgrade to 8 or 12 GB. If users want to go for 16 GB, Trans Intl offers a $52 rebate on unused modules. Trans International notes their memory offer a lifetime replacement warranty and comply with Apple's specifications. Pricing is $108, $248, and $488 for the 4GB, 8GB, and 16, GB kits.
