Pre-Review: Cocoon Gramercy iPad Messenger Sling
July 29th 2010

We got a couple bags from Cocoon that are pretty innovative. The first the Gramercy Messenger Sling made of ballistic nylon. The bag not only holds the iPad, but features an iPhone pouch with a viewable window. The pouch can also be used for MP3 players or other phones/devices, but the intention is a spot to hold your iPhone on the go. What's unique with the Cocoon products is their GRID-IT organizational system. Essentially a flat surface with elastic webbing, the GRID-IT allows users to secure many devices of varying sizes and shapes. Once secured, the accessory system can be stowed in the bag with the iPad. It's really great for storing cords, adapters, and devices for easy access.

The Messenger Sling is available in Racing Red (pictured), Gun Gray, and Black for $29.99.

Check back for IGM's video review of the Cocoon iPad Messenger Sling.
