Apple announces launch of iPhone 4 to additional countries this week

Company announced 17 additional countries will receive the iPhone 4 starting this Friday.
Apple continues to roll out the iPhone 4 internationally. The company Monday announced that customers in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland will get their hands on the new iPhone. The additional countries join the U.S., France, Germany, Japan, and the UK, which launched in late June.
The latest total announced by Apple has the iPhone 4 shipping at a record 3 million units. The iPhone 4 has seen high demand since its launch, and adding adding on the new locations will certainly keep units moving by the millions.
