Pre-Review: Otterbox iPad Commuter Case


Otterbox is known for its multilayer protective cases, and the company has just starting to ship its new line of iPad cases. The Commuter is the lighter weight brother to the company's Defender case. The Commuter is available in black for $64.95 and features three layers of protection. The case has a rubber jacket that wraps around the iPad and includes protection of all ports and controls. An exterior shell then covers the rubber for additional protection. To top it off, the case ships with a screen protector.

The Commuter also features a removable dock access door which allows the iPad to dock while in the case with accessories such as Apple's iPad Dock and iPad Keyboard Dock.
