Update on iPhone 4 Reception: May be a hardware issue


Just a quick update to the video posted early today.

We went through many hoops and we're getting a new phone. It appears Apple is treating this as a hardware issue. They requested to "capture" our device to figure out what's going on.

For those with similar problems, one tip: If you're instructed to get a new SIM, be sure to call AT&T customer service and discuss the problem. Have them indicate in your account you are to get a free SIM, otherwise you may be out $15.
