Another financial analyst chimed in this week regarding the iPad's production numbers. An analyst from Think Equity claim the Apple's manufacturing partners are turning out 200,000 - 250,000 iPads per month. This is seen as considerably below what the iPad demand may generate for its launch. Earlier this week another analyst predicted 300,000 units would be available for March, and perhaps even the launch would be delayed. That news was followed by a leak from iPad suppliers that there are no problems and everything is going as planned. Both financial analysts predict the problem is temporary and production is expected to ramp up quickly in the following months. The issue may be most significant among prospective buyers looking to snag a device on launch day. We also reported on earlier rumors that the iPad may see a March 26th launch, which seems to be an good guess being the last Friday of the month. Apple indicated it would ship late March and Apple tends to launch products on Fridays. We could probably expect an official launch announcement any day. Via MacNN
