Latest iPhone ads asks if your phone and carrier can do that? If you're not using an iPhone on AT&T, the answer is probably no. Apple is set to launch two new ads today leveraging the single biggest technical difference between AT&T's GSM network over Verizon's CDMA. The ads illustrate how AT&T's 3G and Apple's iPhone allow users to transmit data while on a voice call. Two new ads, called Did you See my Email and What Time's The Movie, illustrate as such. The ads can be seen at MacRumors link below. The ads appears to addressed a recent blitz against AT&T from Verizon over 3G network coverage. The ad also adds some differentiation with the recently release Motorola DROID, which is available on Verizon. Probably worth also noting the same holds true for Sprint, which released the Palm Pre among much fanfare last summer. While Verizon doesn't name the iPhone in its ads, keen eyes can see it. Coupled with recent ads for the new Motorola DROID, it doesn't take a lot of imagination to understand the subtext in Verizon's ads. Apple too may be walking a fine line by not naming Verizon. While, as mentioned, the message applies to Sprint, the timing seems to suggest this is a push against the recent Verizon Maps and Motorola DROID ads. With rumors of iPhones to Verizon in the future, Apple (and Verizon) may not wish to sour relationships and perhaps ongoing negotiations. Apple to Enter Verizon-AT&T Spat With Two New iPhone Ads
