iPhone activation coming to Apple Stores?

Apple may be trying to make iPhone purchasing and activation easier.

MacRumors is reporting on new iPhone Activations Zones inside Apple's retails stores. The addition may shake loose any day, according to the Website. Basically Apple Stores will have dedicated personnel available specifically for activating iPhones. Called iPhone Experts, the individuals will be wearing special badges and shirts to indicate as such.

The goal of the move seems to both expedite and ease the process of customers picking up their phone and getting out the door. As always, customers will need to go through a pre-authorization process, and MacRumors indicates this can be done online prior to going to the store. Apple only sells phones at a subsidized price when the sale is attached to an AT&T account.

Such a move could help ease a process that can be frustrating for in-store purchase/activation.
