Those furiously tracking their iPhone shipments from China will likely have to wait until Friday like everyone else. Internet reports of many orders looked promising for delivery as soon as Wednesday, but overnight got bumped to an indefinite hold. This makes loads of sense as the logistic of moving so many boxes from overseas would seem quite a challenge. UPS seems to be taking a few days to get boxes stateside and will deploy an army of men and women in brown to deliver, most likely Friday. In other tidbits, AT&T in-store purchases are also seeing movement, but are originating from the U.S. They look to be on schedule for a Thursday delivery so inventory should be available for pick up first thing Friday. For those without a tracking number yet, that should provide some short-term comfort knowing there are inventories of iPhones only a day away.
