A netbook’s cramped keyboard vs iPhone’s virtual keyboard… in a rally car

CNET’s Crave TV takes the ultra-small, ultra-portable netbook to task against the iPhone. Surely an every day scenario, typing out a message while riding shotgun in a rally car racing around the track.

The for-fun demonstration gives insight into what it may be like using a netbook, with notoriously cramped keyboard, while actually moving. It is a portable computer, right? Well, it was an epic fail while the iPhone worked liked a champ. Check out the video at CNET UK.

V. interesting, while I think that I'm quite adept at typing on the iPhone, I would have thought a netbook would be better - even just in two-finger hunt-and-peck mode.

P.S. consider helping out people who're laid-off by donating to Groups exist on LinkedIn at and on Facebook at to help spread the word. If you could Tweet about it that would be appreciated!

Firstly he's not a rally driver as he's in the passengers seat.
Secondly, it's a RALLYCROSS car and they DO NOT HAVE PASSENGER SEATS installed.

Geeez, will people do a proper check of the 'facts' beforehand!

Thirdly, a true comparison would be to of used '2' touch screen phones like the HTC Touch Diamond and the iPhone.

Rant over, Like the car though awesome power of Rallycross cars.
