Word is out that an in-development version of iTunes 8.2 contains references to Blu-ray. The About screen lists Blu-ray in the fine printing of licensing and legal. Could this mean Apple will finally jump on board?

Currently Macs can add Blu-ray drives, whether external or internal, and use software such as Toast Pro for authoring. Apple, however, has been skittish adopting Blu-ray due to the licenses hurdles and costs. Even though Mac customers can have after-market Blu-ray, having it integrated into Apple's software is an entirely another level. This of course lends to the next rumor, Blu-ray drives options at the Apple Store.
