Cash and carry, no contract iPhones at Apple Stores

Apple seems to be bringing back the cash and carry iPhones at unsubsidized prices.

AppleInsider relays reports of Apple selling iPhones at the unsubsidized $599 and $699 prices. Those prices are for 8 GB and 16 GB models. According to the Website, customers can buy unlimited quantities of phones and activate them at home via iTunes.

The move follows recent news of AT&T offering no-contract phones at their stores. The change will likely help boost sales of not only people who don't want to be involved in credit-contracts, but also those looking to unlock their phone for different carriers.
