WTOP is Washington, DC's No 1 news and traffic source, and as you might expect is covering the inauguration like white on rice. Happily, you can listen in to the station's world class coverage of the event, with that local touch, via your very own iPhone or (ta da) iPod touch.
AOL's SHOUTcast Radio for iPhone and iPod touch (iTunes) is available for free from the App Store. Further, WTOP's stream can be heard via EDGE, 3G and wifi, making it easily accessible in your car or favorite neighborhood coffee.
Which brings us to a reminder--AT&T iPhone customers can access free WiFi at any Starbucks and DC the world has a lot of Starbucks locations.
For those looking to tune via their desktop or portable computer, you'll need to listen via a browser-based client (ick) as AOL Radio 2.0 for Mac doesn't carry SHOUTcast stations.
