Roxio has announced the immediate availability of Toast 10 Titanium, the latest iteration of the company's market-leading burning and digital media software.

An accompanying High Definition/Blu-ray Disc (HD/BD) plug-in, which is needed to author Blu-ray Disc video, is sold separately for $19.99 and is available free for those who purchase Toast 10 Titanium at roxio.com through February 5, 2009. Apple chief executive Steve Jobs is being treated for a "hormone imbalance" but is staying on as the firms CEO. In a statement, Jobs said he had been suffering from ill health for a number of months. "I have been losing weight throughout 2008...doctors think they have found the cause: a hormone imbalance that has been robbing me of the proteins my body needs to be healthy," said Jobs.
