Updated Apple TV 4K adds A15 Bionic, lower price

The refresh should provide up to a 50% performance increase for apps that need it. The new Siri remote also now has a USB-C connector for charging. Also, updates are storage capacities from 32/64 GB to 64 GB and 128 GB models.

The most interesting moves, however, may be the new starting price of $129 and exclusive features for the 128 GB model. The higher-end model not only offers more storage but will have an Ethernet port, whereas the 64 GB model is WiFi only. Also, the 128 GB model has a new Thread mesh network protocol to support additional smart home accessories. The 128 GB model is priced at $149.
Both models are available starting November 4.
