AirPods Pro 2 teardown demonstrate the impossibility of repairs

IFixit attempted to disassemble the new AirPods Pro 2 to investigate whether any type of repair was possible. The results are decisive no. The site gave the product a 0/10 for repairability, which obviously is the lowest score possible.

The video below shows both getting into the AirPods Pro, and the charger case is equally unrepairable. Any malfunction of either device will be disposed of with perhaps some possible component recycling.

It's not surprising given the small size and noise canceling functions. Apple has made some strides in making devices easier to repair rather a one-way ticket to e-waste, but it seems no such consideration was given to either the AirPods Pro 2 or their case.
