Apple issues round of security updates for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Safari

Apple this week issued security updates for its major platforms. The updates cite the same industry CVE identifier, indicating its addressing exploits in core components shared across platforms. Apple notes the updates address vulnerabilities that are being actively exploited. It's wise to act on such fixes immediately.
