New A-series chips may be reserved for Pro iPhones

It's been speculated that this year's iPhone Pro models will have camera and processor upgrades unavailable on other models. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo's analysis indicates the new A16 processor may not be shared by all iPhone models, unlike in years past. While Apple has often reserved features and capabilities for the top-tier phone, limiting the process is not only a new development but could continue going forward.

The result is expected to see increased sales. Increases likely could be due to both supply and demand sides. Apple should be able to sell more Pro models if components are restricted to those devices, also, the expected unique capabilities will attract more buyers. The result should be higher margins for Apple but also may alleviate supply issues across the line.
