Apple commits to be fully carbon neutral in 10 years


Apple today announced plans for its world-wide operations to be carbon neutral by 2030. Apple is currently cabon neutral for its corporate operations. This announcement extends the commitment to cover the full life cycle of its products.

Apple desires to be a leader in its effort and is making its plans available for others. The plan consists of major topics of low-carbon design and recycling, energy efficiency, renewable energy, process and material improvements, and investments in removing carbon from the atmosphere.
