Apple introduces 16-inch MacBook Pro


Apple took the wraps off of its long-anticipated new MacBook Pro. The entry is the new flagship Mac laptop. The New MacBook Pro features a redesigned Magic Keyboard, addressing a common complaint with MacBook users. The new scissor mechanism has a 1mm travel that Apple claims offer a more satisfying feel.

Other features include a six-speaker sound system, Touch Bar, Touch ID, the Force Touch trackpad and the Apple T2 Security Chip. Spec-wise, the 16-inc MacBook Pro offers 8-core processors, up to 8 TB of storage, up to 64 GB of memory, and improved graphics with up to 8GB of VRAM. Apple says battery life is improved by an hour with a 100Wh battery.

The new 16-inch MacBook Pro is available today at a $2,399 base price.
