Verizon adds Apple Music to Unlimited Beyond

Verizon began notifying customers that Apple Music is now available for free with higher-end Unlimited plans. The news follows a recent 6-months free promotion for Unlimited subscribers.

The bundling is available for lines subscribed to Verizon's second tier Beyond Unlimited or Above Unlimited. Subscribers with the base unlimited still qualify for the 6-month promotion but will have to upgrade to keep it permanently through Verizon. The price difference to upgrade to Beyond is $10, which is the same price for the standard Apple Music subscription. If you're a Verizon Unlimited and Apple Music subscriber, it makes sense to take advantage of this deal since through Verizon. The "Unlimited" plan has limitations on video streaming, hotspot use and is subject to frequent throttling, so you can alleviate those restrictions plus have Apple Music.
