Apple rolls out TV OS 9.2, Watch OS 2.2, iOS 9.3, and OS X 10.11.4

Apple Monday pushed up a round of operating system upgrades for its platforms.

OS X 10.11.4 add support for Live Photos, so now people can see those animated photos on the desktop. Also Notes got some interesting attention. Now we can encrypt individual notes for added privacy and security. Also, most interesting is that Apple is making it easy to migrate from Evernote to OS X Notes. While I love my Evernote, I am keeping an eye on Notes and whether it's worth keep paying for Evernote Premium.

WatchOS 2.2 improves features for Maps to make it a little more streamlined to use. For the ballers out there, you can now easily swap between multiple Watches on the same device.

iOS 9.3's biggest of many new features seems like Night Shift, which promises to help you better wind down at the end of the day through altering your screen color temperature. Conventional thinking is the brighter, bluer colors tend to stimulate you, while dimmer, warmer colors don't so much. Users can also now unlock newly secured Notes using Touch ID, including notes mentioned with OS X. Health app also got some improvements to link metrics with the Apple Watch.

TV OS 9.2

The new 4th Gen Apple TV and TV OS 9.2 adds support for Bluetooth keyboards, text dictation for Siri Remote, and now app folders.

When the new Apple TV first shipped, I was pretty irritated there was no Bluetooth keyboard or Remote App support for setup, but I have no interest in keeping a keyboard in my living room. The Remote App does what I need fine, but still, the option is nice to eventually get there for a keyboard.

I'm not sure what to think about Siri dictation. I can't see myself entering account info or passwords using voice, but searching will be helpful.

App folders is interesting, that will allow you to organize content in folders like iOS. I don't have that many apps this is a problem for me, but as times goes I don't want to endless scroll looking for something.
